The Royal Minecraft Militia Medal Committee is run by LuciferZ and frostcollar. At the moment, medal don't mean much and many people don't even claim them.
Recruit
You have been accepted into the Royal Minecraft Militia as a Lance Corporal or Recruit.
Soldier
You have received your first promotion to Corporal or higher; your loyalty does you credit.
Squad Leader
You have been granted command of a squad by your leadership.
Army Engineer
You successfully completed one Defense Class Training Mission, and been giving a passing grade by a senior officer.
